There is a saying, “Children are our future.” But this is only partly true because children are also our “present!”
At Good Shepherd we place great importance on cultivating the faith life of our children so they can be disciples of Jesus now and throughout their whole lives.

We have numerous opportunities for children in grades Pre-K through 5 to have fun while growing in faith:
- weekly Sunday School
- weekly children’s sermons during worship
- special events like our St. Nicholas festival, Christmas Pageant, Easter Egg Hunt, Bible Baseball
- Good Friday “Walk With Jesus”
- yearly Vacation Bible School
People were bringing little children to him in order that he might touch them; and the disciples spoke sternly to them. But when Jesus saw this, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the little children come to me; do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs.”
